Fortress Limousine's Policies
Prices:Prices are subject to change without notice.
Reservations:Fortress Limousine chauffeurs are available 24 hours day.
A 12 hour advance notice for booking is required. A credit card is required for all bookings. You may choose to
use an alternate payment type at time of trip, i.e., cash or check to avoid charging your credit card. Please tell
the dispatcher your billing preference and it will be noted in your profile.
Cancellations:OUR CANCELLATION POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS:
RIDES CANCELLED LESS THAN 4 HOURS BUT MORE THAN 2 HOURS FROM SCHEDULED TIME OF PICK WILL INCUR A $50 FEE.
RIDES CANCELLED LESS THAN 2 HOURS BUT MORE THAN ½ HOUR FROM SCHEDULED TIME OF PICK WILL INCUR A FEE OF 80% OF ACTUAL CHARGES.
RIDES CANCELLED LESS THAN ½ HOUR FROM SCHEDULED TIME OF PICK UP WILL INCUR 100% OF ACTUAL CHARGES.
Last Minute Changes/Bookings:Fortress Limousine will make every effort to accommodate
changes and car requests with less than 2 hours prior notice; but we cannot guarantee that a vehicle will be available
or that the requested changes can be accommodated.Changes to an existing departure reservation
with less than 2 hours notice or any same day (within 12 hours) change to an existing arrival reservation will incur a
$15.00 rescheduling fee.
Early/Late Surcharge:A surcharge of $10.00 per vehicle is added on all pickups between 11pm – 12am; and 5am - 6am. A surcharge of $20 per vehicle is added on all pickups between 12am – 5am.
Holiday Surcharge:A surcharge of $30.00 per vehicle is added on the following major holidays: New Years day (beginning 6pm New Years Eve thru midnight New Years day), Memorial day, July 4th, Thanksgiving day and Christmas day.
Extra Stops:Extra stops made en route are charged as follows: same town, $20.00; same county, $25; different county, $30.00; different state, $40.
Airport Arrivals:Drivers will meet and greet passengers at the designated baggage
claim area for their respective flight unless other arrangements are made. If a passenger does not see a driver the office
must be called immediately so we can arrange the pick-up.Our drivers are expected to be at the
baggage claim area at the time the flight lands.Passengers must wait 15 minutes from the time they
call dispatch for driver to arrive. Passengers not willing to wait will be charged as a No Show.
International Arrivals:Due to the fact that international arrivals require
passengers to go through Customs, our drivers will arrive for all international flights 15 minutes after the actual flight
arrival time. If your flight arrives early, we will make every effort to accommodate the change in time; however, due to
scheduling, this may not always be possible. If you do not see your driver after clearing Customs, please call the office
so we can connect you and your driver.
Late/Early Flight Arrivals:Passengers might experience pick-up delays for
late/early flights. Our drivers and dispatchers monitor all inbound flights, but due to scheduling we may not be able to
accommodate the last minute change. We ask the passengers' understanding for these situations which are beyond our
control.
No Show Fee:Passengers who are not at the designated pick-up address or passengers who leave the airport using other transportation without calling our office will be charged a No Show Fee equal to 90% of the originally agreed upon fare, plus all out-of-pocket expenses incurred.
Waiting Time:Waiting time is charged at the rate of $50.00 per hour billed in
15 minute increments. There is a 15 minute grace period for all non-airport/non-corporate pickups.Due to excessive late airport arrivals and driver wait times at the airports a late fee will be charged at a flat rate of $20 on all flights arriving more than one hour past its originally scheduled arrival time.
Gratuity:Prices include an 20% gratuity and a fuel charge that is a percentage of the base charge, This charge will fluctuate with the price of fuel.
Parking: A meet/greet charge of $10 will be applied for all inside airport arrivals. This charge will be waived if a curbside pickup is arranged. Please call office for details.
Tolls:Most trips originating and ending within the state of NJ will incur a minimum $2 toll charge.
Tolls to Manhattan are $8; tolls to LGA and JFK are $17.
Fortress Limousine is not responsible for any items left behind in our vehicles.
There will be a charge of $20 if we have to return an item to a customer after the trip has been completed.
Fortress Limousine reserves the right to charge for damage to our vehicles caused by the passenger. We ask that passengers
refrain form smoking while traveling in our vehicles. Fortress Limousine is not responsible for driver lateness due to
traffic, weather conditions, accidents or other Acts of God.
